This is definitely appropriate for the magazine, it allows the reader to see his expression of grief and misery which I believe is sensible to have as it allows the reader to understand the persons (devastating) feeling, however now he has overcome this which expressed through the front cover image.
He’s pose links well to the article as it expresses a person of misery which is what he had gone through.
This image is in mid shot, therefore allowing the reader the see person from waist up.
This image certainly impacts the magazine this is shown through the fact this he is a renowned start due to his depiction it attracts his readership (therefore making a significant impact on the magazines financial outcome.
The clothes he’s wearing with the color makes him look smart, professional and fashionable.
He’s pose shows him looking out into space, making him look and feel innocent, this also links to his album ‘innocent’.
I here used an image of folk star ‘Beenie’, I used a mid shot as this allows the readers to be drawn into the image.
The image certainly plays a huge impact to our readership, it’s firstly a renowned star thus appealing to his fans. Also due to size, clothing, instrument and colour bombarded through the image it clearly forces or persuades the readers into purchasing the magazine.
O’Neil gives a pose where he’s literally looking straight at audience, making it identifiable and it also catches the reader’s attention.
I here used a long shot, this is a typical featured used in all magazines, and this makes the cover stand out, look eye catching and look appealing.
These are the images i intend to use within my production
